Get your popcorn ready or set your DVR's for the premier of Ghost Adventurers on the Travel Channel tonight!
The original 'documentary' (remember the flying brick at the Washoe Hotel?) will air at 8 pm, followed by the premier at 10 pm. They will be at Bobby Mackey Music World in Wilder, Kentucky.
Thank goodness for something new... in the very least, they've bumped Most Haunted off that time slot!

Okay I don't know if I like this so much. Since I've taken my critical thinking class all I can do when people talk about things with authority is analyze what they're saying. I'm learning not to take people at their word when they say it with authority.
Okay and I don't believe in pure evil. I remember hearing them say something felt like pure evil. What exactly does that feel like? How do you know what evil is? How do you know that's what you're feeling? What makes it PURE evil? If there is pure evil then where is the pure good? Everything balances so that should exist somewhere. And seriously dude I think we have to calm down a little on the evil business. It's a little vague and you just use it too much. I think evil is loosing it's meaning since we use it too often and who even knows what the right context is anymore.
I guess it's all about perceptions. And why do they get locked in? That is reaaallllyyy weird to me. Why would you want to leave a location? Are you afraid your crew will run? Why would an owner let you lock yourself in somewhere? I can understand staying but locking these guys in. I guess that gets rid of any outside influence so they can investigate better. But what happens when there's an emergency? They'll just bleed to death inside of some random "haunted" location.
Okay I need to calm down the brain and get some sleep. Hmmm he just got scratched though...let's see what happens
Mmm sexy back, I guess that makes up for the hair! Aww dang he's acting like a baby. Come on drama boy calm down. Now he's yelling and whining a little. Totally killed the sexy back feeling...
I think he's giving whatever is doing the scratching power by doing all this stuff. I understand it's upsetting but I'm sure it wants to do that to you and there you go giving it that. Okay I'm done watching him, there they go wanting to leave
And they just showed orbs that were dust, ooooo geez now I'm seriously done. Well sorry about my rambling but I wanted to comment while I'm watching. Shower and bed time for this little kid.

I was entertained.
I get what you are saying about evil, LC. I had that same feeling as I watched. But then, as I started to think about it - I do believe that evil exists. Not necessarily as a force in the universe, but in the realm of human beings. I have met humans who are truly evil people in this incarnation. So, since ghosts are just disembodied people, couldn't there be evil ghosts who are still trapped in the illusion of humanity, but prone to human foibles?

One thing that made me iffy was when he pulled out the emf detector and said the number was climbing but not giving an actual number. Also did he even do a basic emf sweep to see what the emf reading was before starting the investigation of if he could prove it to be something else like the unprotected wires? The scratching though was pretty different...never seen that happen before on a haunting show.
And I love October too just because all these shows come out...I wish all year long they had shows like this

So, since ghosts are just disembodied people, couldn't there be evil ghosts who are still trapped in the illusion of humanity, but prone to human foibles? Personally, I think so. If someone who did evil things while alive is haunting a place, that spirit can be expected to try to commit evil acts once dead. He/she probably would not be content simply moving objects or turning the tv off and on.

So, since ghosts are just disembodied people, couldn't there be evil ghosts who are still trapped in the illusion of humanity, but prone to human foibles? I went back and re-read my questions and I still don't think there's pure evil. I think they do throw that word around quite a lot. O this is evil, o that's evil, we feel evil here. I'm sure that's something the Warrens are responsible for And the more and more I'm learning the less I'm believing in ghosts. I used to eat it up that they were real and love ghost stories. I think there are unexplainable things out there but I don't know about ghosts. And if these ghosts are evil or good or whatever who gives them these "powers or abilities" to disturb those who are still living? How can these things that have no mass or force do these things? I don't know much about science so I'm not sure I used the right word but I'm basically saying things that I can't touch are touching me. I just think way too much and these things come to me.

I know what you're saying, LC.
The paranormal has rarely been studied on a scientific basis, so we are left with faith and no facts. Ghosts may in truth be genuine, but until the scientific method is applied, we'll never know until we're dead ourselves.
