Ok, I live in a very very small town in New York. You wouldn't think there would be much paranormal activity right? Wrong!
The most famous urban legend for this area is about a small statue on Park Ave right near a park. It's said, on certain nights, if you sit at the base of the statue, you will see the eyes bleed. I haven't gone down to watch it yet, I guess they had a lot of problems with local satanic groups holding vigil there and causing problems. So now it's patrolled often.
There are other stories about hell hounds roaming the streets at night. (Yeah, we have a lot of satanic activities up here.) As well as a lady in white roaming Market Street.

I tried, but the cops quickly scooted us out of the area. The statue was defaced a couple of times. I'm not even sure who it's supposed to be of... lol Maybe I'll go down in the daytime, (not patrolled as much) and see what I can find?

We have an alledged statue like that some where in Boston near Deaconess Hospital. Supposedly the eyes bleed and the arms stretch out and the statue is supposedly that of a girl that was murdered by escaped mental patients.

lol, I forgot about this post! Actually, a few weeks back I went by the statue, and sure enough there was a cleaning crew working on the statue. I asked them what they knew about the man, and I guess he was the founder for our city, and his death was a strange one, though whether it is true or not, I'm not sure, but it peaked my interest. I guess he double-crossed someone and it was rumored that person "cursed" him. He was found dead in his home the next day, not a scratch on him, and those who knew him said he had been in perfect health. I asked about the statue bleeding, and the four people who were cleaning/mowing doing different work on the statue just looked at each other and it got kinda weird for a bit. They really didn't want to talk to much about it. One did mumble something about a "curse" on the statue as well, and his home was torn down after it fell into ruin, no one wanted to live in it from what I understand...
So there is the very belated update. Leaves a lot of questions huh?

Theres no name on the staute? Or a date when it was made? My recommendation is look at the statue. And see if you can find a carving on it, with some time of date or name. Then go look into town records to see who it is and what the person did to get that statue. It cant just be "This is Joe and he gets a statue for no reason" There has to be a reason why this guy got it. I would look into town records and town hall see what they have about it.
