A Haunting in Georgia is legitimate. I even have a copy of the published paper written by the guy who investigated and who believes that all hauntings are residual. Seriously - this one is MUCH better than the series. I would love to see that one , so if you know when its on again, please let me know so I can try and catch it. Otherwise , I will keep an eye out for it. Thanks It's being repeated on the ID Channel (used to be Court TV) on Friday the 23rd at 9 PM EST and on Saturday and Sunday practically all day.

we have a commercial here from the water district encouraging people to not shower alone, it always gives me a good chuckle.

I used to like it, but then i believed i had seen every episode and i found the re-runs boring. and sometimes it was just so overly dramatic and then nothing would happen and i was done.

I agree, very show is about a demon or the occult. Not for nothing , but if you are "haunted" or something due to your dabbling in something you shouldnt be dabblin in.. I think its your own darn fault! Dont try and play the victim card! I stopped watching the show the mid of last week when I couldnt take another woman screwing around with the occult and couldnt understand why she was being haunted lol Ill give it a break and see if maybe net week they will move on and do something else So you are telling me because I dowse my body in goats blood, and sacrifice kittens over the pentagram that I have painted on my basement floor I'm bringing this all on myself? No no goats blood only allows goat demons in and so youll be safe...but your furniture/plants probably wont be.

That tinkly muzac they play in the background is a give away that either: A) Your mother is about to come up behind you and ask you what youre doing B) A loud noise will occur (probably a picture falling off a wall/a shudder banging against the house due to wind) C) Theres a ghost/clown/demon thing is probably behind you or in the closet/bathroom so you should GTFO.

Seriously - this one is MUCH better than the series. Karina, I take it you're referring to the 1999 paper by William Roll and Michael Persinger, "Poltergeists and Haunts." I think I sent that one to you. I've discussed this case with Roll and his colleague at the time Andrew Nichols. The television program altered a number of things, but some of the important evidential aspects of the case (e.g., Heidi Wyrick's knowledge of Mr. Gordy) were pretty accurate. I've briefly corresponded with Amy Allen, the medium Roll brought to the case. We never managed to get our schedules right to chat about the case. Andy Nichols told me that Amy wasn't as accurate as the show depicted. I also had some correspondence with Heidi and Lisa Wyrick. Pretty interesting. The Wyricks published a book on their experiences last year called the Veil. www.theveilbook.net/Michael

Always thought the relationship between Heidi and Mr Gordy was intriguing, as well as all the potential explanations. This story has interested me more than any other account of a haunting published in the media. Thank you for telling me about it earlier in the year, and sending me a copy of the published paper. ;D And I sincerely hope that stint in re-hab did you some good. Being a drunk and washed up actor is no way to live your life, son.

I'd just like to say that they haven't murdered me over at the TAPS Forum...yet. The fangs have come out though. I'm contemplating sending the enture group of mods over there a case of high grade whiskey with a note attached telling them I recommend long evenings with the W to bring greater clarity to their minds. These people have something very rude stuck up in between their legs. They need to be renewed.... 2 days left before we bust this one open....I think we may actually all go over to the Distillery and submit our evaluations from that location. Michael
