Please alert us when he posts the analysis. I'd hate to miss that.

Well I think believers don't question it because they believe it's real. Skeptics haven't really questioned it from what I have seen, probably because it's one of those unconfirmable things. I don't think it can be confirmed nor denied. Franks emotional state seemed real, but does this by prove that what happened to him was due to a deceased person or *gasps* demon decided to pick on him? Even in the end he might be a good actor, it would seem doubtful but you never know.

Also, and I never noticed this before, during the rest of the show there were scenes where Frank was just kind of standing off on the side and watching what was going on. I think I saw him three times. Was that in the first showing of that episode? I would bet that they catch cameramen and sound men all the time and just edit that stuff out later. They also probably edit out times when someone is holding a camera that is being waved around too much. The way they were scrambling around chasing the cold spots, it was unavoidable that they'd catch crew members in some of the shots. The fact that they will edit those shots out later probably makes everyone ignore it if they catch someone.
I also noticed the shots of Frank off to one side. I think those shots were on purpose because of what had happened earlier in the evening.
Happy Mothers' Day, Moms!

I thought of that too. I think you are right. The only reason they included it this time around was do to the action going on with Frank.

I'm just so tickled with myself that I had that epiphany about paranormal. It may not mean anything to anyone else, but it fits into so many questions I've had about paranormal events. The jury is still out on ghosts, but the meaning of "paranormal" is suddenly much more clear to me.

I am in agreement with you on what you mentioned earlier about paranormal most likely being natural laws that are unknown to us to date.

It wasn't that long ago that people thought thunder was God throwing lightening bolts, or the angels bowling.

It wasn't that long ago that people thought thunder was God throwing lightening bolts, or the angels bowling. Exactly. I firmly believe that everything, EVERYTHING must follow the laws of physics. They may be laws that we don't know about yet, but they must be followed. That's what makes the "Big Bang" so amazing. All the laws, energy, and matter were started in that trillionth of a second that the universe began.
So, whatever lifted Frank's equipment bag was something "paranormal". I was also thinking that the bag didn't need to be meant to hit him. It was simply lifted, contacted his chin, and continued to lift another inch or two. In pitch darkness, unprepared, it would have knocked him down.
Also, remember that humans are very easy to knock down. When we walk, we are really stopping ourselves from falling with each step. We lean forward, swing a leg out, catch ourselves, push off with the trailing foot, fall forward, and continue. If anything prevents that foot from swinging forward, we do a face plant. It's called tripping. It certainly would be easy for an entity that can only lift 5 or 10 or 15 pounds. Think of the girl in the asylum. Was she walking at the time she went down?

So, do you think something knocked him down? Like a ghost? I tell ya, I think something happened to him. You are right about when you get the wind knocked out of you it feels like pressure in your chest. I just don't know how he would have faked that. He was clearly upset by it. I have the dvd I am going to have to watch it again. I have already seen it a few times though. I don't know if it was a ghost, but I do believe it was something paranormal. Either that or Frank is an incredible actor and has not yet been discovered. He was so shaken up that he was sobbing at one point. I think it was real.
I should explain that what I think is "paranormal" is, in fact, a force of nature that we don't understand yet.
I think it was something paranormal too. I have had a discussion with someone on another board about the meaning of paranormal. I think it means something that is not normal and cannot be explained. What is your definition of paranormal? This person said paranormal and ghost are the same thing. I don't agree.

What is your definition of paranormal? This person said paranormal and ghost are the same thing. I don't agree. I think that the term paranormal is a misnomer. I think para-normal is really normal. We just don't know how it fits into the laws of nature yet. Like Carson said, it wasn't that long ago that people thought that comets were signs from God. The jury is still out with me on ghosts, but I am getting increasingly sure that paranormal events are simply normal events, the causes of which we don't know yet.

I tend to agree with you. There are so many new things we learn every day that expain the once unexplainable.

Sometimes it's more fun just to take things at face value, and allow yourself to enjoy the mystery. In this case, it's harmless. I pretty much think it's all bunk, but I still enjoy the mystery.
I saw Blackstone doing an illusion on stage. He pushed an assistant through a sheet of plate glass. I knew it was a trick, but I still enjoyed it. Then, as they were moving the prop off the stage, they shook it, and the plate glass moved in the frame. Instantly, I understood how the trick was accomplished. Mystery solved, but it totally ruined the trick.
I knew it was a trick, but I would rather have not known how it was done.

Remember when the magician came out on fox and exposed all the other magicians tricks. I thought that really stunk. The whole point of magic is we know it is a trick but enjoy the illusion.
