Star Wars died for me after I saw Episode 2. Episode II sucked, it looked rushed and the actors didn't mesh w/ the rendered environment, but I did enjoy episode III. Clone Wars was good, It was geared toward children, alot of action not alot of dialogue. It was about what I expected so i wasn't dissapointed. I had free passes so that also helped. I dislike going to the theatre otherwise. The actors not meshing with the rendered environment was the least of its problems. The script was hideous. The characters were all unsympathetic. And the best acting came from Yoda, who was computer generated. When I saw Episode One at a midnight showing, I thought it was so bad that I swore I would never pay anything other matinee again. When I saw Episode Two, I wanted to walk out. I have never felt that way about a movie I saw in a theater, and I saw Tank Girl in a theater!

I'm afraid to ask what tank girl is...
I remember we watched episode 1 when it came out to rent and I thought this is lame. Nothing happened and the fact that a child was going to become romantic with a way older lady creeped out my young self...
Let's see anakin = 7/8 natalie portman = 20ish

That's harsh tank girl was a POS. the only movie I only walked out of was the sixth sense. M night's directing style is painfully slow to watch for a ten minute twist at the end.
I expeced the prequels to be crappy just like I thought the Crystal Skull would be. Lucas and Speilberg realize the money is w/ the kids and merchandising, These movies are way to ewok-y kid friendly, I expected that and really wasn't dissapointed all that much. For the most part the only time I go to the movies is the drive in, two movies for 7 bucks i can deal w/. Luckily i had free passes for clone wars otherwise I may have more of a harsh critique.

I've only walked out on one movie in my adult life, and that was High Fidelity. it really wasn't the movie, which I loved, but some nimrod sprayed cleaner or mace or something into the air vents and the theater had to be evacuated.
Episode Two must have looked to counter the high cost of the special effects by not hiring writers and Hayden Christensen, who has the acting chops of a Troma Studio extra.

yeah Hayden sucks I agree, but to compare him to a troma extra is doing the troma guy a disservice. Toxic Avenger haven't seen that in years.
