Ohhhhh dear.... I love this show as you all know .. my fav of the two gh & ghi ...but here is my run down on the season premiere... : 1- first off.. location the castle beautiful !! 2- Robb.. looking great! But where were ya .. not in there much... 3- Donna... *edited myself due to lack of nice things to say* 4- The singapore thing.. I dont know .. too much music I dont know how you could here anything other than that . 5- Dustin.. how can you be "professional" when you are sporting the look of the New Kids on the block circa 1987!! I think you need to dial it back a bit and try being more laid back. I know if I was owning a 1000 yr old place and called GHI in and a backstreet boy showed up I wouldnt be too happy about it. Im just saying .. think about presentation. 6- Andy..... ohhh andy... I dont have enough time to post on this lol 7- Barry .. a for effort thinking up new processes and trying new things, still think he needs to shave that lil happy trail going down his chin 8-Brian..... well... its Brian ... Overall, I think they found some good stuff, the fire alarm was interesting. I think Robb is starting to look more relaxed which is great for the reveals, I really think he should start doing them alone or with Barry even, Andy is too much like a chimp on crack I think. I also miss Shannon on there, we need some "normal" female blood. As a season premiere it wasnt one that would have sucked me in if I wasnt already a crazy fan. But as always I am faithful and will be watching next week like its no ones business! lol Good job guys.. I can see everything is working toward the better... just need to get there. Looking forward to next week. Though I hope we get the hell out of New Zealand after next week! lol Thoughts?

i totally agree on barry shaving that growth on his chin. yuck i hate those things, and he looks like he belongs on that tool list thats in one of the threads. and robb looked muuuch muuuch more relaxed, good to see and what was that singapor thing??? i mean ive never heard of it(not that im that well read). it was interesting and it should be interesting to see how it will be used in the future i already commented on dustins jersey boy atire in another thread so ill leave that alone loved the location and that's all i can remember right now

Spot on Chrissy... I liked your recap. Can we expect more after all the GHI epi's this season? My take on all things shallow, in no particular order: - Robb: Becoming a bit of a hottie in his more relaxed state. Honestly never noticed the fetching color contrast between his eyes and hair.
- Donna: Something is different about her face... Did somebody have some work done on hiatus? Fess, luv.
- Barry: Pleasant and easing into himself; not overreacting as much. I must give him credit for taking the soul patch to new and interesting heights.
- Brian: I muchly like his subdued demeanor. It lends more credibility to not only himself, but the team.
- Andy: Debunking weenie supreme that enthusiastically bounds through each haunted location like a puppy chasing a butterfly. The main thought that niggles at me when I see him, though, is that he has a wife and brand new baby at home. I can't get past that enough to really enjoy his presence on the team.
- Hair Boy: He was noticeably slurring his words in the kitchen area with Donna. Somebody check his hair gel.
- Evidence/Location: The image on the photograph came across strongly as matrixing over a TV screen. Perhaps it was clearer in person, but it just didn't translate over the TV. A+ location. Sidebar: I thought it was funny that Pilgrim Films felt the need to sub-title the castle hostess from NZ.

Cool location...boring episode. That seems to be the norm with this show. Btw, Brian needs to go. He's completely unbelievable. "Oh. Did you see that!" No, Brian. We didn't.

i was thinking last night, how does barry feel about brian? i mean they're always teamed up. does he believe brian? does he think brian is loco? barry is hard to read and i can't figure out how seriously he takes the things brian sees.

I don't know about Barry but it is hard for me to figure out Brian too. He was very quiet last night.

lol @ jj...Back off my Robb & barry!! You know how I do lol I am hoping they put the epi on demand this week so I can watch it again.. I actually like watching the epis twice .. the first time for me is usualy clouded with the superficial non-point crap. The second viewing usually brings me back to the point of the show and the paranormal aspect. I am hoping they show it again very soon.

Andy as a chimp on crack - hahahahaha - you kill me, Chrissy!
All in all I thought it was a pretty good episode. They seem to be settling into investigating. It's nice to see them trying new things.
So did anyone ever find any reference to the Singapore Technique? I googled it and it didn't exist except in relationship to last night's show.

We need to remember that some of those folks in GHI are members now. And, I'm working on GH people. Let's be better than skiffy. Don't we want them to feel welcome here?
Sorry, just another point of view.
Now, as to Singapore Technique: I thought it was a great idea. I think that it might be effective on intelligent haunts. Worth a try anyway. Stumbling around in the dark with hand-held cameras has only produced so much. Let's get inventive and try new things.

For the record, I could understand her just fine, as well. thank goodness!!! lol crazy subtitles You know I posted the same question on the TAPS 18 Forum, especially since the subtitles seemed arbitrary and unneeded. There were actually some people who said that the New Zealand accent was a little tough to understand. Bloody wankers.
