I watched The Strangers yesterday. If you want a decent horror movie, this one works well.

I saw Mirrors on Saturday. Pretty decent flick if you don't mind a little bit of gruesome horror (not as bad as something like Saw). The plot twist at the end was cool.

We saw Tropic Thunder tonight
It was FREAKING AWESOME. Easily the best movie I've seen in a long time.
You start off laughing and end laughing. It was great!!! The whole theater was rolling. And I don't really like Tom Cruise but he was HILARIOUS, I think that he was at his best. It was worth the money my mom paid. I would go see it again and again.

My buddy brought over Iron Man last nite. I always liked the Marvel comic movies and Iron Man was definitely not a disappointment. Although I did almost cry when he smashed his AC 427 Shelby Cobra. lol

I rented The Happening the other day. The idea and the filming were great, but once again M. Night's actors left me high and dry. That's a shame because I always liked Mark Walberg's performances before this one. It's a bit graphic so keep the kids in the other room.

I've been waiting for The Happening to hit cable. The previews looked good, but the last M. Night movie I paid to see (The Village) was so disappointing, I was wondering what to expect with this one.

I don't know if there was anything epic about it. I guess the graphics and plot made this one different.

We went and saw Eagle Eye today and it was BAAAAAD AAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Totally awesome. I know this isn't very girly but I love car scenes, with all the crashing, flying and explosions. This movie had some pretty great ones. And I totally teared up at the end so there was my girl coming out. It was really great

I watched almost all of Final Destination 3 last night. It was kind of lame. I really like the 2nd one best even though I have to look away a lot!

I've been waiting for The Happening to hit cable. The previews looked good, but the last M. Night movie I paid to see (The Village) was so disappointing, I was wondering what to expect with this one. Well, since M. Night is my favorite director, I was waiting for his new movie The Happening in anticipation. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. I did like Mark Wahlberg and John Leguizamo, and I thought they did well with what they had to work with, but Zooey Deschanel bugged me to no end in this movie. She was a HUGE distraction because she seemed too out of place and lost. I also thought the plot was lacking, and the ending was extremely predictable, which is a shocker for me because I haven't gotten one if M. Night's endings right until now. lol My son, however, liked the movie more than I did. But, he had to cover his eyes in a few graphic parts. It was pretty clear in the movie when something graphic was about to happen. I expect big things from M. Night, and this movie didn't come close. It was slightly entertaining but had no real depth.

I have really enjoyed M. Night's work as well, but not as of late. LOVED The 6th Sense and Signs. Enjoyed The Village. Could not sit through Lady in the Water. But really thought he bombed with The Happening.
