Moss Beach is still a major topic with Jason and Grant. Another question asked last night to Jason was about the MBD. Someone asked how he kept from reaching across the table and killing Chef Gray during the Reveal (or something to that effect). Jason stated that in fact, he did mention to Grant that he wanted to, but he also said that he had a talk with the chef off camera. According to Jason, Chef Gray said that the owner of the MBD told him not to disclose that there are effects installed in the restaurant to TAPS. So now the blame is being directed toward the owner. This is the first I've heard of this. Chef Gray took a lot of flack from this episode. The harassment of the restaurant and Chef Gray from the die hard TAPS fans was deplorable. Yes it was. I find it VERY hard to believe Jason and Grant didn't know about the effects. I say they did. They just needed a storyline to make the episode interesting and give people something to debate and discuss. And I'd say Moss Beach was in on it - otherwise they could possibly SUE GH for they way they were treated.

I can't imagine what Grant thought he would gain by making such comments. It was immature, obnoxious, and mindless. Doesn't he realize that his insolence to that client in front of 300+ people and countless listeners gave a severe blow to his character and also the character of the TAPS organization? If this matter is ever brought before Jason and Grant, there is no way that they can play the denial card and whittle their way out. For all we know the people that they make fun of are actors just like them... The woman that Grant disgracefully made fun of is not an actor. Pi (Margaret Halsey Gardiner), is the real Executive Director of the Merchant’s House Museum. She is still listed as such on the museum's website. Here are a couple links showing her in and around NYC during art/cultural events. This is the same woman that appeared on the GH episode: www.questmag.com/questmag/200802/?pg=54nysocialdiary.com/node/20753merchantshouse.org/administration.html

I just get more and more disgusted with J&G these days. I would never go to see them at a convention, or pay for one of thier poorly written books. And I stopped watching the show a while back. I don't really care if GH is fake or not. I look at TV as entertainment, so if I'm entertained, great. But I don't find this sort of behavior very entertaining.

For all we know the people that they make fun of are actors just like them... Yeah, but so what? The whole audience are not actors and the main point is that there were kids in the audience. The message that Grant and Jason are putting out is that it is okay to make fun of people. It is okay to tear down their self-esteem. It is all okay as long as you make people laugh.
Doing that with one or two people doesn't feel nearly as bad as doing it with a random audience. I just wonder how many kids were sitting in the audience? How many of them were hurt by that and how many thought it was okay to do that cause they made people laugh?

TAPS is always spouting off about how important family and children are. Well, it's about time they practice what they preach! I would also like to know how many children were in that audience. From some comments they made, it sounded like their wives were there. I wonder if their kids were there too? If there were kids in the audience, Grant sure didn't hold back! He not only gave that awful remark about the curator, he also called Kris Williams, who was one of the guests that night, : "Kris Rear-Yums" Yep, he called her that a couple times as he was speaking to her. She didn't sound like she minded it though.

Kris Rear Yums? Hilarious and horrifying, all at once! I wonder which genius member of TAPS came up with that term of endearment?

Especially when they just happened to "discover" the effects so conveniently! I say it's also a great possibility that the restaurant was in on it too.

Given what I've seen of Kris (and the fact she's VERY aware of the number of posterior shots in an episode with her in it), she was probably the one who coined the nickname, or at least got the nickname after commenting on the occurances. As for making fun of a client, I do have to agree that it was in poor taste to do it at the convention, and in extremely poor taste to do it on their radio show.

So, they're referring to this lady? I never noticed it before, but she does have quite an adam's apple. And her hands are larger than the guy next to her. OK, I digress. Bad TAPS, bad!

So, they're referring to this lady?
I never noticed it before, but she does have quite an adam's apple. And her hands are larger than the guy next to her. OK, I digress. Bad TAPS, bad! I remember her. She was the one who didn't like the TAPS guys touching or moving things in the museum. I distinctly remember Jason starting to take a hold of something, and she said, "please don't touch," and smiled at him. Jason seemed put off by it.
But still, does that make it okay to make fun of people like that? What was the message? What were they telling the kids in the audience? If somebody seems to be gender-confused (and who makes that decision), then it's okay to poke fun at them? If somebody looks different or acts different then it's okay to attack them?
I think they owe her an apology for their remarks. And, a public one at that.

I am not comfortable talking about what people look like , but I will in this instance in her defense. She is a tall person. Tall people often have large hands. I am 5'9 and I have large hands. As far as her "adam's apple", she is also slim. I have seen this before with slim women. Her physical appearance does not take away the fact that she was client of TAPS and Grant was both cruel and unprofessional for making her the butt of a joke by making that comment in public.

This apology would also be in effect for all past, present, and future clients of TAPS for a betrayal of trust. They put every client of theirs in a position of dishonor when they poked fun at her. This is how highly they think of them; this is what Jason and Grant really think about them.

UPDATE: The podcast has finally been downloaded! Here is the link: www.beyondreality.planetparanormal.com/You can fast forward the show to time 02:03:15 to listen to the question and Jason and Grant's comments. I do have a correction though. It was Jason that mentioned the Adam's apple comment, but it really doesn't matter because Grant has other immature and childish comments!

Hello Mommybear06, First off, To the forum. Very nice to have you here with us. Thank you for sharing the link to the radio show. It is pretty sad that these two had such fun at this client's expense. Makes you want to rush out and ask for their assistance doesn't it? lol
