I had an experience about 3 nights ago. I was sitting in my sisters room watching some DVD's eating some icecream in the dark. When I felt something pinch my ear. I looked around and there was no one there. I knew I was alone (at least in this world). I just shrugged it off. About 10 minutes later, I heard my bag move ( I have a plasic bag with my books in it.) I heard the shuffle of the plastic bag. Again I shrugged it off. About 45 mins later I hear something in my sisters DVD/VHS cabinet move. I dont know what it was but it sounded like it went pretty far. At that point I told my self I was going to shrug it off again. And I simply told whoever it was to knock it off and to go away cause I nor my family wanted them there. And I didnt hear anything else for the rest of the night. Or since then

When I was working last night I remembered something strange that had happened to me at work. I was working in the back office folding shirts, i can't remember if i was alone but even if anyone was there they wouldn't have been standing behind me.
i'm folding and all of a sudden I feel something that pokes me in the back of the neck. It didn't feel like a regular finger. Im wearing a sweatshirt and feel for the tag but its in the shirt so that wasn't it. I have no idea what it could have been so that was probably my only some what weird experience.

I had a weird experience at the gas station (of all places!) the other day. I went inside to buy cigarettes and I was standing in line. I felt like someone was behind me but nobody was there. Then I felt a weird sensation on the side of my neck, like someone lightly rubbed their fingernail across it. I figured I had a bug on me or something, but there wasn't anything there.

I have posted this at skiffy but I will post it again here:
So when I worked at an alzheimers care facility I was going to do my 2 am rounds with the one other employee in my building named darrell. I went into my med cart and got out this womans morphine. She was a very sweet woman on hospice and had been declining for a while and was expected to pass at any time. Darrell was coming out of the room next to me and I knocked on the door softly and opened it. Now being a med aide you have to be very precise on time and I cant wear a watch because of how much I wash my hands and it will get in the way of gloves, also I could scratch or tear the skin of a resident while rolling or dressing them. So anyways I opened the door and to my left was the way from her living room to her bedroom. Also on my left on the same wall as the door was a clock. So right as I opened the door I looked at the clock as I was opening the door and I let out a very loud shriek. Darrell was about ten feet away in the outer hall and ran up to me because he thought I had found the lady fallen out of bed. When I had looked at the clock the hands were rotating forward in time extremely fast around and around for about 6 seconds. They stopped at 4 o clock exactly. The clock was no longer ticking at all. It just stopped. We tried changing the batteryt and made sure it wasn't a sattelite adjusting clock it wasn't. Darrel didnt see it move. He got in there right after. The hands were already spinning when I made eye contact with the clock. I was really shaken and out of sorts and Darrel was a good friend and knew I wasn't lying. We didn't change the time and hung the clock back up. Left it alone. So at 3:45 am we went in there and sat. The clock was at the right time again and ticking. We were afraid she was going to pass at 4. But nothing happened she was fine all night. The next day at 10 pm I got to work to hear she had passed. During charting the next morning I read her chart (they are in a spiral notebook together) and hospice had sat with her while she passed. At 4pm exactly she took her last breath. Strange and true story. I also had a lot of other experiences such as seeing the apparition of a man with a walker going around in a empty room that the lights were out in. I thought someone had got out of bed and got lost but when I turned on the light noone was there. I also had doors slam all the time to empty rooms. Also once I was caring for a man whos last name was Davis. He was a huge 6'5 man. He was brought in for hospice and passed about 8 hours after he moved in. Another resident who always said people were in her room called me in. She would always tell me that there were cats in her room, and people in there. She would say can't you see this blond woman sitting on me she is crushing me and other things like that. I assumed it was part of her dementia. The day after mr Davis passed she called me in and told me there was a giant man in her closet. She said a huge man walked into her room all hunched over and went into her closet and he was still in there now. I opened the closet and didn't see anything and when I turned around she was waving to her door. I asked who she was waving to and she said "the man from the closet he says his name is Davis. " Now this woman never left her room and we do not ever refer to patients by their names we say "room 17 wants some milk" and that sort of thing. And we never talk about one resident in front of others. I truly feel these events were paranormal, and anyone can feel free to PM me if you have thoughts or an explanation for this I don't mind.

My son has two keyboards (piano not computer) in the basement. One doesnt have batteries the other one is definitely turned off. Almost everytime I go down there a keyboard plays a single note, about every 15 minutes. I got the keyboard that had batteries and put it front of me and sat for a while. I heard the note again, except this time it came from the other room. No matter where i'm at in the basement it always comes from the other side. To this day, no one else has ever heard it.

I shared this on skiffy, so I might as well share it here too. Many years ago, my family and I were staying at my great aunt's house one weekend. (This house is one of those really old ones where you have to go through one bedroom to get to another.) Her house is filled with antiques, and has always creeped me out. My sister and I were sharing a double bed in a back corner room and my brothers were in the connecting room that you had to walk through to get to the one I was in. My parents were in a room on the other side of the house. I had been asleep, but I awoke for some reason. I opened my eyes and looked over towards the antique dressing table. I saw a woman sitting there, and my first groggy thought was that it was my mom. I actually said, "Mom?", but as soon as I said it, I realized that the figure had the hairstyle and clothes of the Victorian era. The figure had begun to turn after I spoke, but I had realized that it was not my mom, so I covered my head with the blanket and moved closer to my sister - praying for all I was worth! Lol! Just to be sure, the next morning I asked my mom if she had been in the room that night, and she looked at me like I was crazy, and said she wasn't. I only slept in that house once more after that, and I refused to sleep in that room ever again!

Last night my mom told me about an experience she had. She has a lamp my grandpa made sitting on her nightstand. Shortly after he died, she and my dad were downstairs. All the windows were open. They heard a loud bang and my dad went upstairs to find that the bedroom door had slammed shut. He thought nothing of it until they went up to go to bed. The lamp was on the floor. There were papers and other small items on the nightstand that hadn't moved. She picked up the lamp and nothing on it was broken. They couldn't figure out how that lamp could have been blown over by the wind but none of the papers or anything had moved. This happened a couple days after my grandfather's old friend had seen an apparition of him before dying.

I would have to say that one of the creepiest experiences I've ever had was last August when my team & I investigated Rolling Hills Asylum in Bethany NY. I was walking in what used to be the old cafeteria/dining room & my hair came up uover my head & hit me in the face. Creepiest experience yet!

My mom always thought I was a little sensitive because I've had some personal experiences. I haven't had anything happen in a long time but I will share what experiences I have had.
1. When I was 12 we moved into a new house. We hadn't lived there long when we found out that the lady that previously lived there was killed while riding her bicycle less than a mile from the house. It wasn't long after we lived there strange things started happening. The kitchen faucet would turn on by itself. My brother had one of those rc cars. One afternoon the car just flew off of his desk and sped down the kitchen floor. It started spinning in a circle and then flipped itself over with the wheels spinning in the air. Needless to say I bolted out of the house so fast and would not go back in until someone else got home. I tried telling my parents but they thought I was nuts. That was until one evening when my dad had an experience. He was sitting in his chair watching tv. All of a sudden he came flying into my bedroom with his belt in hand telling me he was going to spank me if I didn't quit peeping at him. I started bawling my eyes out and swore that it wasn't me. A few nights later my dad was sitting in his chair and I was sitting on the couch. All of a sudden we both looked at each other and then looked in our hallway. There was a shadow person standing there watching us watch tv. From then on my parents never said a word if something wierd happened. I haven't sensed anything in their house in years, but for some reason no one wants to sleep in the bedroom that used to be mine.
2. The first house my husband and I rented together was creepy. Whenever we would be hanging out in the living room or our bedroom you could hear what sounded like people talking in the kitchen. Sometimes you could hear cabinets opening and closing, but when you actually went in there it would be quiet. I never did see any apparitions.
3. My granny has had 3 family members pass in her home over the years. I never really thought of her house as haunted. My hubby and I were over there visiting one afternoon. I was in the restroom. I heard a door shut and footsteps. I thought maybe my husband had gone out to smoke. When I returned to the living room he was sitting on the couch and his face was as white as a sheet. I said what's wrong. He said I don't know what just walked through here, but it went out the front door. Other than actually hearing a door shut and footsteps I have never personally encountered ghosts at her house. My little brother now lives there and I will have to check with him to see if he has had any experiences.
4. My last experience was about 5 years ago. Our family was called over to my husband's grandparents house to say our goodbye's to his grandpa. After the funeral home people came and picked him up all the family was gathered in the living room sharing stories and just spending some much needed family time together. They have a dog and he just started barking like crazy at the ceiling for 20 minutes straight. It was so wierd but it was like he sensed that he was watching us.

I think my cat senses something. I'll be sitting at my laptop and I'll hear growling and I look and she's all tensed up, hair standing on end, growling at thin air. We had her checked out, but nothing was wrong. Sometimes she'll get really agitated too. Kitty mood swings?

It's a girl kitty. It happens at random when no one else is around. We've had her spayed when she was a kitten.

When I was younger, we were having family in from out of town. I have to render my room for the guests and had to sleep in my brothers room on the bottom bunk of his bunk bed. I woke up near dawn and noticed 3 full body apparitions of Indians standing just outside of the bed. The figures I saw were a male, and he was the closest to me, a female, and a child in between. The male was very angry looking and it was he who scared me so bad. I could'nt quit looking at him. I definately knew that he did not want me there. I was so horrified I could not move or speak. I just laid there until they evaporated and the sun came up. To rationalize it, I just told myself it was a very bad dream and that is what I believed for many years.
A few years ago my brother, mom and I were having a conversation about ghosts. My brother said that he believed while I was quite a skeptic. He began to tell stories of how he had seen several apparations, including the apparations of 3 indians on the hill behind our house (our street ran parallel with a hill, there were also houses at the bottom) and that people at the bottom of the hill would claim to see them walking on the hill.....then he said, one night, I woke up and the 3 indians were right outside of my bed.
My jaw about hit the ground, and ever since I have been looking for some type of answers to help me with what I experienced. I have been more open minded since then and have noticed several other experiences, but never anything like this.

I didn't really get interested in the paranormal until I was 14. There was an old family graveyard about a quartermile away from our house. My cousin and I would go back there and be stoopid and try to scare each other and stuff. Anyway, one night mom, dad, and I were out back roasting marshmellows over a campfire and our dog suddly went nuts. He got up and started growling and then took off into the dark. He has chased off racoons and opossums and stuff before, but this was totally different. He was out there barking and dad turned on the floodlights on his jeep to see what was going on. Ben (my dog) was barking at nothing and backing up towards us like he was protecting us from something. My dad was yelling at the dog and I was hugging my mom because I was kind of freaked out. Then I swear I saw something move towards Ben like a cloud it blocked the light some and then was gone. Ben growled for a bit before coming back and my dad was still shining the lights around. I don't know what it was - maybe just me freaking out, but it was wierd. We lived there until I was 17 and we had a few more things happen, but all outside of the house.
