Okay so I'm going to admit to you guys that yes I will be seeing the movie this weekend. I bought my ticket early and I will go to the theatre early to get a good seat for the movie. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's Twilight weekend. The Twilight books are a series of 4 about a sappy(couldn't think of a better word) teenage romance between a human and a vampire. And since I'm a proud dork in mostly everything I do I'm going to get myself super excited about this until it's saturday. Okay anyway I'll also give you my review of the books. 1-Cute and perfect for a teenager. Yes I liked it 2- Eh okay, not as good as number 1 3- I can't really remember what happens that's different in 2 and 3. But they were all right. The only one I would re-read is the first one. 4- I didn't finish it because I seriously thought I was going to barf. I know I'm not your usual sensitive girl but it was way tooooo much. I have a friend who thought it was the greatest book ever but I didn't. So this one seems to be the love it or hate it volume.

Tanner read the books. I took him to the movie last night. Seemed an overwrought, poorly acted rescue fantasy to me. But I'm probably not in their target demographic.

I saw the midnight showing on Thursday night. The -kinda- followed the book, more than I expected them to. However the acting was BAD. And people thought The Lord of The Rings was overacted. Just you wait LC. But it was nice to see some of our characters on the big scene.

Okay I've heard that about the over-acting. And all my friends who have gone to see it haven't liked it. I personally just from looking at the cast thought I'd be disappointed because w/o seeing the movie I'm diappointed in the cast.
And me and my friends have all decided that Robert Pattinson is a total weirdo in real life, lol he should just stop doing interviews

Okay I saw the movie! It was eh, it was actaully better then I thought it would be. The plot seemed to have some holes in it but I think people who aren't picky like me would like it. Things I didn't like: CREEPY STARRING Jasper, seriously the whole movie theater was laughing ourselves silly everytime he came onscreen. O O It felt rushed, they mooshed all the important stuff into 1 long scene Okay so Ed and Bella seem to not even like each other and then wham they're in love, they hadn't even really talked or anything and it was just too rushed. I would have liked more dudes with no shirts Again the whole storyline about the trackers feeding on the people felt rushed and just sort of shoved in there. There also seemed to be a lot of awkwardness, I don't know if it was me or what Things I liked: Mmmmm Edward It did stick to the storyline pretty well The guy who plays...umm...Mike? fit really well. (And they stuck all those minority kids in there, lol) I really love that Bella had an awesome Mac laptop because those things are sooo cheap, serious product placement Charlie was pretty good, and the guy who played Billy fit well The Cullen house fit what I thought Lol the whole movie theater laughed when Bella goes to lab and Edward makes that face, we were laughing soo much Just some other random things I thought: Jacobs part was really small and since he's a huge part of the 2nd book they probably should have had him more in the first one...o and his fake hair....yuck And that's all I can remember right now, I'd give it 6.5 out of 10 on a scale in my head : D

Jim and I were laughing at the multi-cultural student body in Forks high school. Trust me on this - Forks is not a multi-cultural community. At. All. It is as gorgeous as they make it look in the movie tho - I lived on the Olympic Peninsula for several years (although not in the rain forest like Forks is, so it didn't rain as much.)

I just saw it again with my bf...
Anyway, I noticed that about forks hs...really? A town of 3500 has how many minorities? My high school had less minorities and I live in southern california. I thought the girl who played jessica was good along with the mike guy. Alot of scenes were cut short I agree...and I didnt see much chemistry between them at all..unless we were supposed to believe that they "bonded" in that tree scene (which was also ridiculous). The Victoria at the prom scene was stupid too since Edward would have smelled her there. Edward also had his breath showing in the forest scene, which if you read the book, you realize isnt possible since hes technically DEAD. Also the random subplot about them feeding on the townspeople was silly too.
Overall though it was nice to see my current read on the big screen. Plus there was a Harry Potter preview in the previews.

So me and my friend decided we're going to see it again. This time IMAX. Since I talked through the movie the first time with my usual smartass remarks I won't talk this time. Maybe it'll be better when I'm not laughing so much!
