So the theory here is that if a group of brainiacs from MIT can analyze, in intricate detail, an existing crop circle, and then create a fake that closely matches the one they analyzed, then all crop circles must be fake. Geez, I just realized something - the ski resort near my home makes snow, and the skiers don't seem to know the difference. That means that all the snow that falls here is made by the ski resort, and those horrible blizzards we get from time to time - all the fault of the ski resort. And I always blamed Al Gore! Sorry Alfred. They say an infinite number of monkeys at an infinite number of typewriters will eventually write all the works of Shakespeare. I'm thinking that with all the wheat, barley, etc. that is grown world-wide, it is just possible that sometimes the grain just decides to lie down in strange patterns. Or they could just be fakes. I'm open to anything. i say go with the most likely explanation. Could be faked. Could be some type of natural phenomena. Most unlikely theory - little green men. Agreed...I dont understand why they would be interested in tattooing our cornfields instead of getting out of landing on the whitehouse lawn, getting out of the spaceship, and saying howdy to George Bush.

I think the simple ones could have been created by humans. however, the more complex ones that appear over night would seem to need an army of people involved.
A second thought is that during the night there are curious lights hovering above the ground and then the next day there is a new circle.

I talked to someone once who believed that crop circles were actually the earth trying to communicate. I'm not sure I bought the theory, but I at least thought it was a really interesting and creative one that made as much sense as little green men.
