Spontaneous human combustion is said to be when a person ignites into flames without any external fire source. Some have lived to talk about it, while others haven't. It is a controversial topic that is speculated upon since it is not a proven natural occurance.
Do you believe this happens, or that maybe there was some kind of external source that the person did not notice? If you believe it does occur, do you think it is by supernatural means or more natural?

from the outside this looks like some kind of freak accident. the person was smoking or somethinga and falls asleep and they ignite. then they "combust" but no one hears anything. i imagine if they were being burned they would scream, so this must happen instantly without the person knowing what hit them.
and i didn't know there were any survivors of this, id like to read about that.

I never believed that 'spontaneous' combustion was real...I mean think about it...our bodies are 60-70% water. Water + fire = water wins..every time.

Pink that is definitely what skeptics point out too when explaining how they do not feel that it can be an external cause. They've actually devised some theories as to how it happens in a natural way.

I've seen shows on this before and interviews w/ the survivors, but none of this has swayed me. It takes alot of energy for a human body, or any body for that matter to be incinerated. I think that it's something naturaly occurring when it comes to the deaths. The survivors I don't believe w/out knowing them.

Well another thing that skeptics suspect it could be is a theory known as the wick theory. That's when some one perspiring a lot with a lot of fatty acids soaked into their clothing gets ignited by static electrity. This is really only a theory though. But in that case, some one might sincerely feel that they were victim of a supernatural phenomenon.
