I have a friend that I met on another message board which is not paranormal-related. I have always considered this person to be very normal, in fact VERY cynical, and someone I would have considered to be a skeptic until she sent me these stories. I just thought I'd share them with you. I had asked her about some paranormal stuff and this is what she replied. I have no reason to believe that she would make this up. She's not that type of person, and her sister posts to the same board, and she confirmed what "Sally" wrote to me.
Carson - my post about the ghosts is true. I've seen lots of them... and the little demons too. I also had quite a few poltergeists at one time. After their initial visit and things settled down, I wasn't afraid of them anymore. I talked to them and there were many still around. I considered them my guardian angels. But up until that time, I was scared out of my wits because everything seemed to be going on at one time. They were very active between 1 and 3 a.m. I figured they had their days and nights mixed up. lol
Not counting the little white balls of light and the triangular light, there were about 7 or 8 full figured ghosts and one little dog. Two were children.. a little boy and a little girl. They tossed a ball across my bed all the time, played tag (they would touch us or pinch us), and the little dog belonged to them too. One was 'tall man' who wore an Abraham Lincoln type hat. One was a very pretty southern belle, complete with hat.
Another we called 'cowboy' because he wore a cowboy hat. Another was more modern dressed with trousers, short sleeved shirt and sleeveless v-neck sweater. One of them wore workman's boots. Black and thick soled. He often went to work with me. They weren't confined to the house at all. They followed us outside and about the yard. We could watch move from room to room. Some of them would move things around, knock stuff off tables, steal our cigarettes, spill coffee all over the countertops, leave the refrigerator door open, bang on the walls, lock the doors, turn the lights
on and off and lots of other stuff. Tall man would go around the house and mess with the pictures hanging on the walls. My daughter followed him around the house one day, straightening the pictures and it was like he was behind her, messing them up again. lol Later I found out that he frequented a couple of homes in that area, so I wasn't the only one who had seen him.
During the time it was going on, we documented everything we saw. There was someone awake all the time. We slept in shifts according to our work schedules. At the time, I tried to find someone who would come to the house and check it out, but I couldn't find anyone.
So, I believe in ghosts, the afterlife, reincarnation, UFOs, and think just about anything is possible.

At this point I asked her more about orbs and this was her reply.
Yes, I can really see orbs. Most of them and ghosts are seen out of the corner of your eye. We tried to see them straight on, but finally figured out that 'their time' is faster than ours. However, I have seen some orbs straight on as they hovered around certain parts of the house. The oddest one I saw was triangular. It was in the hallway. It was weird because it continually glowed but didn't emit any light. I saw it straight on and it was clear as day. And there were two ghosts that I saw straight on and they too looked like a real person standing there. One of them was weird because he looked just like a friend of mine... except the ghost wore no glasses and my friend did.
My house sits about 500 yds from an old wagon trail. We thought that maybe some of these ghosts were from that old trail. Being near the Texas/Okla. border and the Indian reservations around there, perhaps some died around there. When we first built our house there, there was an old shack just north of us. The folks who had lived in that old house was buried on the property, so perhaps they were restless.
After all the research I did, the conclusion was that dead folks tend to stay around parts of the country that they lived in. Or they visited places that they enjoyed. Maybe that's why I saw my grandpa sitting in the den in his favorite rocking chair. That was way back when I was in high school. The first ghost I'd ever seen.
