Personally I love fishing, both fresh and salt water. I am looking forward to doing so during free time this summer.

I like fishing, but my husband doesn't. He used to dissect fish in order to analyze them for the fisheries dept. They just gross him out now.

I like salt water fishing, but my favorite is fresh water.
I love fishing for bass, using light tackle, lures and artificial baits. I love fly fishing for trout, again with light tackle. I love fishing for trout with lures and extreme light tackle. I like fishing for panfish too. I like reading about fishing, watching video about fishing. I would love to fish for walleye some day. Everything I fish for I catch and release. I have a shirt that says, "I fish, therefore I am."

Love the lake and the water. Detest earthworms with a total and complete passion, and I refuse to handle one and I don't have the stomach to hook even a worm and use it for bait.
However, I love to EAT fish.

I even catch every wasp that flies into my home. Eating is a different story - but I don't want to watch you cook it, unless it comes frozen or looks nothing like the original source (such as hamburger). If I weren't hypoglycemic I'd be a vegetarian.

I've been deep sea fishing and before I caught my fish I had to "feed the fish" (vomit)......Since my accident I can't do anyhting like go on boats!!! I now have vertigo!!!
I have fished in the past but I wouldn't go fishing now, because I "need" someone to put bait on my hook and take the fish off when I catch them!!
Basicly!!! No body wants to take me fishing !!!!!

River fishing is a blast, Lake fishing relaxing. I love to do anything that involves the out doors.

The thing about fishing is, it's not the catching that makes it fun. Sure, catching is nice, but it's the act of fishing itself that makes it all worthwhile.
It isn't that fishing is all that important, it's that all other pursuits by man are trivial by comparison.

How can you prefer fresh water fishing over salt water? Nothing beats deep sea fishing, assuming you have the money for it, which I don't most of the time. Give me tuna/cobia/amberjack any day.

Give me a quiet lake or big river like the Columbia. Let me run some spinner baits or plastic worms past a brush pile or a boat dock .... waiting for an explosion each time ..... Now, that's entertainment!

She was getting ready to step off our porch when I was about 5 or 6 and I screamed no, stop, lookout she stumbled and fell off the porch only to see me moving the pill bug off the porch she had almost stepped on. She never always laughed when she told that story. But I agree I love food. I could be a vegetarian if I didnt love meat.
