I have recently come to my conclusion of deja vu/spirit lingering/reincarnation.
I feel that everyone is reincarnated into themselves over and over and over. The more you are reincarnated and do not change your life or track of life the more deja vu you will have. Almost a reminder that you have been here and done that. I think when you pass your life starts over all over again with the chance to change it each time. I dont know my exact thoughts on how I beleive this works etc, but I am convinced that reincarnation and deja vu go hand in hand. Now, I know most of you are going to ask them how do I believe in ghosts or spirits if I think people are automatically reincarnated. Well ...
I also feel that the spirits that linger to become "ghosts" are spirits that were never ready to go or refuse to go. That is why most tales of a haunting are residual (were not ready to go or dont realize they were going) or a "demonic" type of haunting (people who are so evil that they dont want to go, they still want to control even from beyond).
That is my own personal theory that i have been keeping in the back of my mind for years. Thoughts?

I believe reincarnation is the truth. Some people have said that they think they may have had been reincarnated.

That's an interesting theory, Chrissy. And for people who do believe in reincarnation, it makes sense how you described it as the cause of deja vu. Honestly, I've never been able to decide what I believe in regards to reincarnation. Maybe some people didn't live the life they should have and get a second chance, but maybe not. I'd hate to think I've made the same mistakes in a past life and that I could keep making them over and over.

I agree Foz. I constantly hear people say ohh you had deja vu, that means your on the right track. To the contrary... I believe tht its the right track to follow the past life and things you have already done. So to me I look at it as a alarm system. Jury is still out but I am definitely leaning toward this ... (God forbid I tell the family they are strict Italian- Catholics so its Heaven or Hell and thats it for them.)

There are two interesting books called Destiny of Souls & Journey of Souls by Michael Newton, PhD (I don't remember which book came first). He is a doctor who was doing hypnotherapy with patients, and stumbled into some past life regression with one of them. Curious, he decided to consciously try taking other patients into past life regressions. As he was doing this, he then stumbled into the ability to take people hypnotically to the lives between their incarnations. He has done this with thousands of people in hypnosis and written two books of case studies about it. He started as a total skeptic, and was transformed into a believer as the descriptions of the lives between incarnations were so similar. It is fascinating reading whether you are a believer in reincarnation or not. There is another doctor that was recently on Oprah with Dr. Oz who also has a book - who has been doing past live regression hypnosis. I think it would be really interesting to be regressed - something I have always wanted to have done, actually. I'd be curious to see if there was anything there or not - and whether it felt true to me or not. I think that I believe more than I disbelieve that we do reincarnate. To me, that is the theory of death that makes the most sense me and meshes with some personal experiences that I've had. Anyway - I'd recommend reading one or both of those Michael Newton books if you are interested in reincarnation.
