I found this article interesting. Not sure if they permit complete copy and past but under fair use act, I can post a partial and if you wish to read on, click on the link I provide. Can Animals be psychic too?written by Max Rodegher
Author of Studies of the Paranormal Have you ever suspected that your dog or cat might have a psychic ability. Did they ever behave out of character right before a natural disaster? Did they ever come up to you when you where thinking about them, or did they ever get lost away from home and found their way back to you all by themselves? Many pet owners have had similar experiences with their pets and some believe it is because animals may have their own psychic abilities just as people do. read more here... www.studiesoftheparanormal.com/cananimalsbepsychic.html

ROFL!!!!!
I wanna know who is paying these people to run these experiences and do this research!! Cuase I want in!! Its basically one of those fields you can make crap up till your hiney falls off and there is no one to say otherwise. What a racket! I mean I am all for beign close to animals and having the inuitive feelings like you do with your children (as a mom) and they may have them back. But psychic, I dont know. I would say more "aware" do to the heightened senses they already have over humans.

Well I can tell you for sure my 2 dogs aren't psychic, I just sat here thinking about petting them and they both came over and bit me. What do you think that means?

I posted to the thread about Pet Psychics. That would be my response to this, too.
Also, I posted to the thread about my paranormal experiences, and one in particular involves our dogs.

I don't know about pyshic, but I agree with Chrissy on the intuitive idea. I think animals still possess that "basic animal instinct" that humans have lost. One thing that drives me crazy is when people say animals can't use "reason" (I know - I'm kinda OT here). My dog has used "reason" to figure things out on her own plenty of times - sometimes she outsmarts us!

I know that animals are very intuitive and very good with Reasoning but for them to give you a pschic reading.. I dont see it

I do believe that animals have an instinct too. But how the hell would we know if they were psychic? I think animals do have a sense that we don't. Like the animals that can sense seizures.

I think that animals can sense certain physical energies better than we can. Does this make them psychic? Nah - it just means that there are things that occur in the natural world - and in the world of physics that we don't have well developed receptors for that they do. That's my take on it, anyway. ...but then, that's how I think people "psychics" work, too.
