Bear in mind these are theories, but quite interesting theories about what a ghost could be made of. We read a lot about ghosts and spirits in books, here on the internet, and even in stories we pass on to one another but have you ever wondered what a ghost is actually made of? First we must define what a ghost is before attempting to figure out what it's composed of. The term ghost can be used to describe an imprint which is an unconscious apparition that is of people, animals, or objects from the past acting in the same ways as those real people, animals, and things did years ago. The term ghost can also be used to define the spirit or soul of a deceased person that has in some way made it's presence known to the living. read more here... www.studiesoftheparanormal.com/whatareghostsmadeof.html

That was an interesting read. I have my theories , simple and probably utter nonsence, but nontheless I have them. I beleive that ghosts are spirits of the deceased and aparitions etc I think are just mist forms. The temp drops in a room quickly usually a "sign" of a presence if the temp goes from warm to cold quickly it cuases a fog = apparition. Thats their manifestation. As for the bumps in the night and everything else, not sure havent got that far into it. I have always been intersted in ghosts and the paranormal, but never investigative to this extent till recent. So, Im learning and thinking as we go

I always thought that ghosts were made of energy of a form we don't yet understand.

I think Christie might be onto something with the fog. Since matter can neither be created or destroyed, we have to assume that the energy/beings come from SOMEWHERE and have to draw their substance from something else.

Well a lot of people believe that the ghosts of objects such as trains and ships could be from an imprint of e.m.f.. The reason being is the repetitiveness of those things throughout their time. But what about this... It's equation for a wormhole. It is believed that wormholes throw off time and if they are not functioning right it can cause a ripple. I guess to put it simply, if an object like a train is most frequently seen in that location it might be because there was more of a chance that it get caught in a wormhole. If nothing was ever there, chances are you would never see anything re-occur. Just an idea...

Just an idea... Hey, easy there, Bowl! You can't just go around throwing up equations like that. I started reading it and nearly got sucked into a wormhole that formed in the room. I hate when that happens. I lost two cats that way. LOL

Thankfully, I'm taking my test Friday so no more studying for me!

So your theory on wornholes is that they "live" in your toilet? And they become active when the lever is depressed???
