This legend has it that a woman comes home to find her doberman gasping for air, and seemingly having something obstructing his breathing. ive seen this one on numerous tv shows. i think that my dog would probably bite someone if they tried to burglarize our house. shes our four-legged alarm system.

That seems a bit unbelievable..and the vet's synopsis of the situation doesnt make any sense either..if they performed a tracheotomy it would lodge the fingers down the throat more distressing the animal more...
