GH is about to premier on Canada's SPACE channel. Here is how they describe the show:
"This one-hour weekly docu-soap from the creator/executive producer of American Chopper follows a group of real-life paranormal researchers as they investigate hauntings throughout the country."
They don't even try to hide the fact that it is a soap! Move over Luke and Laura, here come Jason and Grant!

Up until a couple of months ago, Sci Fi also labeled the show as a Docu-soap. I am not joking.

That's a pretty accurate description. It is certainly NOT a documentary. And, it has a lot of soap tendencies. The squabbling in the early episodes between Jaygrant and Brian were great soap stuff. I think that's what all the public fighting now is about. They've lost some audience since things got all nice and happy. I don't mean ratings are slipping, but they also watch trends and those may be slipping. They may have surveys where viewers have said, "I miss the fighting between Jay and Brian."

Guess skiffy removed it so the believers can keep on being duped into thinking it's a documentary.

Wow, are they getting sensitive over there! Jason must be doing damage control.

actually i thought this past week that it was starting to turn into the Steve and Tango show.. with there lil odd couple relationship that the camaras sseem to keep showing.. that have absolutely nothing to do with the show or the paranormal. Its like we should be waiting for a spin off where these two move in together !

It's only an unconfirmed rumor, but it appears that Jason and Grant have succeeded in getting their teeth into GHI and traveling overseas. We all know Steve's character stays domestic. If skiffy keeps both shows, GH will need a cast. I can see them using Steve and Tango.

So are Steve and Tango the "new" Jay and Grant?
