I just saw "The Strangers" If they had a thumbs up icon as well as a thumbs down all in one I would describe it this way. The reasons it is thumbs up....It is very very creepy, and it is a fast paced movie so you don't get bored waiting until half way through the movie for action to happen. If you can put yourself in their shoes, imagining these weirdos with masks lurking around your house, inside and out and you are trapped, you could probably give yourself the creeps watching this movie. The reasons it is thumbs down....It is kind of predictable to some degree. No real shocking twist to it. Basically, it is a good movie to watch, but at home when it comes on DVD, or on one of the movie channells. Or watch it online...

I saw the preview for The Strangers and besides the fact Liv was in it , didn't really catch my interest. See these things could never happen at my house b/c those masks wouldn't help them from a hail of gunfire;) Although when it hits DVD, I'll be all over it. Thanks for the heads up.

I agree, I own guns. The only thing that can hurt me is if someone is already dead like a zombie or a ghost. www.watch-movies.net/movies/the_strangers_2008/I recommend version 4.

I don't get into horror flicks much, no one can make a good one it seems. Not to my liking anyway. I am into the action. I just saw Ironman and the effects were seamless. A mate is taking me to see the Hulk today as a late birthday present. Hancock and batman are next on the list. When I was a kid, comics were my release and I guess it stayed with me. I'll go and check out the new Indiana Jones fillum as it has aliens in it. As I used to own a video store, I watch movies for the fun of watching them. The amount of people that used to walk through the door and complain that something was'nt quite real enough, or the story was slow used to annoy me. Its a movie, if it got you out of the real world for 90 minutes then it did its job. Just enjoy it for what it is I used to tell 'em. Then you might actually have fun with it instead of wishing you had grabbed the other one you looked at. B.

Zohan is not that bad! It was long, and not Sandlers best ( I give that to Grandmas boy) but all in all worth a watch. What till it comes out on DVD though, not worth the movie price!
On another note, who's with me in saying Indiana Jones was the biggest let down of the year so far???
Lacked the usual Indiana whit, humor, creativity, and the special affects were so over the top it ruined the spirit of the series!! Lucas/Speilberg...hang your heads in shame!!

I enjoyed Indiana Jones. I went into it expecting less though. Both Lucas and Speilberg have softened w/ age, and now try to make movies more kid friendly. The Starwars prequels were defininitly softer except Revenge of the Sith compared to New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. Look at what Speilberg did to ET he took out all the guns and digitally changed them to walkie talkies. Lucas monkeyed w/ New Hope too, Han Solo shot first I'm sorry. There was no need to make Han any less of a scoundrel. After looking at from that point of view I knew not to expect the same from Indiana Jones.

all i can say about zohan was eh and i have horrible 14 year old boy toilet humor. it had the usual cast of sandlers goons, rob schneider also not at his greatest. i only laughed out loud 3 times and the next day i cant even remember why. this was not sandlers greatest movie, my fav is anger management but i would wait until it comes out on dvd and get it from the dollar box.

I just finished the number 23 and the beginning was confusing, it almost lost me, but I stuck with it. The middle was super suspenseful and the end almost confused me but it all unravels in a way to explain all the questions that were left in your mind. All in all super suspense, amazingly complex but thorough plot line, major twists in the plot that leave you going what the f-bomb no way~!!!! I loved this movie I give it 9.5 out of 10 I am only marking it down half a point because I almost shut it off in the beginning because I was getting lost for the first ten mins of the movie and the audio is quiet and its hard to hear what they are saying. By the way I never knew jim carrey was hot until I saw this movie he plays a detective with a full tribal back tatoo and there are a lot of HOT sex scenes in this movie, it was seriously a turn on but innapropriate for anyone under the age of having sex.

I watched the happening. It wasnt as bad as I expected based on the reviews, but the plot in the end turns out to seem so unlikely that you are like wtf? And there are parts in the middle that make no sense and never end up getting explained, even though they spend a lot of time on them during the movie. I do hate marky mark more because of it, and that chick whos his gf in it is the worst actress ever. I give it 6.5 out of ten.
