Hey, I am getting bored with the same old same old. I could really use some fun easy recipes. If you have any it would be great if you would share. I might even come up with some of my tried and true recipes.

Ok ..I have a ton of good quick and easy receipts to share, I love cooking have been doing with with my family since I was 4. I will post atleast once a week a new receipt for you Deb (and the rest). Feel free Please note : I have a ton of authentic Italian receipts that my mother brought over here from Italy (where she grew up) and I have no problem sharing them. But please remember when you cook with these receipts taht we are old school and do not measure with cups or spoons we eyeball and taste-timate to get the flavors the way we like them. So , on any reciept all you have to do is always tweak the spice to your tastebuds and they are keepers So with that said lets start off with something that every Italian dinner needs.. a good pasta sauce. Here we go: Ingrediants : 1 can of Kitchen Ready Pastene Sauce (I can get you the pic of what I mean if you need it 1 can of Pastene Tomato Paste salt, pepper & Italian Seasoning paprika 1 stick of pepperoni veggie oil (or any except olive) Step 1 : Sauce pan (larger) on the stove , high heat pour in the can of Kitchen Ready then take the can and fill it with water and pour that in there too. Add all the salt, pepper & Italian Seasoning you require (this can be tweaked toward the end of the cooking process). Slice the peperoni stick into about 1/2 slices and add them to the sauce , mix and cover to boil and cook on its own. Step 2: Meanwhile, take a small saute pan or small sauce pan on med/high heat ,coat the bottom of the pan (thin layer just enough to coat the cover the bottom of the pan) take the paste out of the can into the hot oil and mix constantly (to avoid burning the paste) as you mix add in a little bit of paprika and keep mixing. you want to have the paste suck up all the oil in the pan. Once the oil is absorbed and the paste is fried you want to pour the paste into the large sauce pan with the rest of the already boiling sauce. Let that cook on top for a few moments mixing it well. (should look kina watery and not so appealing) Step 3: Put on the Oven to about 250-300 degrees. take the Large sauce pan and put it covered in the oven to cook. This is going to be the time consuming process. This needs to cook in there I would say anywhere between 3-8 hours. The longer it stays the more that sweetness that you get from like a pizza sauce will disapear. You want to stir it every 20 minutes or so , to thicken it and avoid burning. Once a few hours have past and it seems like a layer of oil ontop of the sauce you want to take it out of the oven, put it on top and let it sit to thicken up a bit. As you boil your macaroni, you can stir the sauce to help it thicken back up and by the time the macaroni is done, your sauce should be ready. Be aware this kinda of sauce will do about a pound to 2 lbs of macaroni easily and is usually better the next day. Manga! and Salute! Any questions.. let me know

I have one, but don't come after me if you eat the whole thing! ;D
Gooey Butter Cake
Ingredients: 1 (18.5 ounce) package yellow cake mix (I used butter cake mix) 1/2 cup butter, melted 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 4 cups confectioners' sugar
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Mix cake mix, melted butter or margarine, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 2 eggs with a spoon. Pat into a 9 X 13 inch pan.
Mix cream cheese, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla with an electric mixer. Slowly beat in confectioner's sugar. Pour over cake layer.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool.
This cake is sooo good! It's very dense and rich. I probably won't do 4 cups of confectioner's sugar next time...you can leave about 1/2 cup off and it won't hurt the mix.

This is my Beef and Noodles:
Ingredients: 2-2 1/2lbs. stew beef 1 can beef broth 6-7 beef boullion cubes 2 bags medium Kluski noodles (I think I use the Maid's Inn brand, or something like that)
Directions: Fill large stew pot with beef stock, boullion, and water and set to boil. Brown Stew meat- I brown it in butter, with a mix of garlic and onion powders, pepper, and seasoning salt. Meat into the boiling broth, set to simmer. Cover and simmer 4 or so hours. 30 min before serving, add Kluski noodles, up the heat a touch.
This makes a ton...the 4 of us always have leftovers. You can use low sodium ingredients...I don't, because hubs will just come along and start dumping salt in it.

I haven't tried this yet...I got it from a friend, and she said her famil loves it.
Cream Cheese Chicken in the Crockpot
Ingredients: 1 frying chicken, cut up (use about 4 lbs of bone in OR boneless just cook the boneless a bit less) 2 tbsp melted butter salt and pepper to taste 1 package of dry Italian seasoning mix 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 8 oz brick of cream cheese, cut up in cubes 1/2 C chicken broth 1 large onion (minced really small) crushed garlic to taste (about 1-2 tsps.)
Brush chicken with butter and sprinkle with the dry Italian seasoning mix (I did two layers in my crockpot to make sure that the Italian seasoning got on all the chicken and not just those pieces on top.)
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours. (a little less for boneless)
About 45 minutes before done, brown the onion in the butter and then add the cream cheese, soup, and chicken broth to the saucepan. Add the crushed garlic and stir all ingredients until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Pour sauce mixture over chicken in crockpot and cook an additional 30-45 minutes. Remove chicken to platter and stir sauce before putting in seperate bowl to use.
She serves it over egg noodles.
