So, I'm really considering getting a tattoo on my ankle of my sons name. I'm kinda holding off. Cause I dont like needles. But I want to get some feed back first. Does anyone have a tattoo on their ankle?
Any tattoo stories are always good too.

I don't have one on my ankle.. but my sister had one done near her ankle, just on the side. It's a lizard, and the guy didn't do a very good job. As far as I know, it hurt more there than it did on her shoulder.. but I guess it's different for everybody, and also depends where you got it done.
Mine is on my left shoulder blade. It felt like getting kneaded by a cat.. you know how they do that thing with their claws... but over and over and over. It was more annoying than painful, really.
My sister and her husband have their kids' names tattooed on them. On the neck and back. (I'm not a neck tattoo fan, personally.. but whatever LOL)

It only hurts for a second, then it's done... It's one of the fastest healing piercings you can get, too.

I had my cartilage (upper ear ) done when I was in college, as well as my navel. Both long since removed. The ear one really bugged me, and the guy who did my navel piercing didn't give me proper after-care advice. For my one piercing now, I've had it since '04, and I still love it. I had it done at a place that only does piercings www.piercology.com/ They are freakin' awesome there. I'm actually a very modest person, believe it or not. LOL So it's kind of like a secret that nobody knows about.

Unfortunately I can't wear earrings anymore. They make my ears burn and itch.. no matter what kind I have in. I did hear that supposedly if you get them done by a professional piercer, it's a lot better. I don't know if I'll bother with it, though. I do look a bit silly with all the holes in my ears going to waste. LOL But oh well. (I have 3 holes in one ear, 4 in the other.. not including where the cartilage piercing was)
