i think it would cute but i would ask to see previous work done by the artist. it would suck to have some smudge on your ankle from some weirdo who didnt know what they were doing.
or try to get a recommendation from a friend, someone who has work done by the person so you know it'll look good

It only hurts for a second, then it's done... It's one of the fastest healing piercings you can get, too. I don't care what you say, that would hurt like hell dancing in a sexy pair of tight jeans. Nope, ain't gonna happen... But I've always thought a tattoo with a little stick figure pushing a lawn mower would be cute.

In any case, I'll just finish with "don't knock a piercing til you've had it".
Good luck with the tattoo, lissleigh

I got my tattoo after 3 years of debating. I wanted something perfect and i couldnt find one so I made it myself. I had a fear of needles so I was not looking forward to it . But once I made the tat and it was exactly the one I wanted for my daughter I did it . And to be honest..it didnt hurt half as much as I thought. Heres a pic (not the best but ill take another one soon) I plan on getting my ankle done sometime this year.. I want my rosary beads on there , that is another one I was debating to do first but my ddaughter as usual comes first and so did her tattoo When I get my other one done (I know its gonna hurt more) but I will post it

I just have the good ole tramp stamp. I love it though and I want to get another one, but my hubby hates tattoos. The outline hurt like hell at first, but then it just kinda went numb and tingly. The color tickles, I kept having to make the guy stop before I'd start laughing. Here's a pic - I need to get the color redone though, it's almost 10 yrs old.

I went to get a teeny tiny tattoo once. When we walked into the tattoo place, they had a cage with a lizzard in it. I could handle the lizzard, but then a guy came out of the back room and said, "I'll be done in about five minutes and then I can do your tat. Oh hey - we've got a python back there - so you can look at it while you get your tat." That was it - I was outta there. Never ever attempted a tat again.

I have a tat the typical girly tramp stamp on my back. I drew it because I wanted something tribal but wanted to incorporate a girly aspect to it. My sons name is going in the middle. I agree it is more annoying and barely painful than anything else. The outlines dont hurt but shading does so a name would be a very easy starter tatoo because there is no shading involved. I say do it!!!
