I know, i'm behind times, but i've never had sushi (or the desire to try it). Same here. Closest thing I've had to sushi is grilled squid at the hibachi place - it was probably grilled for like 30 seconds total, so it kinda counts as sushi. And yes, I enjoy squid. lol Mmmmm....calamari.

calamari is good but tough... Best places for good tender calamari are Carraba's and Macaroni Grill. Speaking of Italian places - I don't have to cook tonight!! I'm going to the Little Italy district in Cleveland. Woo hoo!

I bought some boneless beef ribs at the market this morning- I'm just trying to find a way to make them amazing in a crock pot- I'm thinking something sweet and savory like garlic and plum jam and red wine... looking around online for inspiration. Again, no oven, it's well over 100 today. My oven gets a 6 month break every year.

Speaking of sushi, I'm really picky about it. I like it when it's still hot. When it's cold...bleh. I can't swallow it. Ugh. I'm sick and left to my own devices, so I'll probably just have leftovers
