Seems there are not too many happy people out there after viewing the Halloween show. Do you think this may have a substantial effect on their ratings, or will people forget about it and keep watching, like they did last Halloween?

I'm not sure, but I know several people who I really respect who are convinced they're really going to get kicked in the teeth for it, and the ratings are going to plummet.

Ratings tend to reflect how entertaining a show is. I don't think people will stop watching because evidence has been faked as long as the show is still fun to watch.
The Halloween special wasn't fun to watch, I couldn't stand it and I had the benefit of the Canadian station editing out some of the commercials because of strict limits on commercial time here.
Putting obviously fake stuff together with a poorly done show is just too much for many people, I suspect.
Sadly, Pilgrim would have been better off to show some attempt at a real investigation, even if J&G sat there looking at nothing happening all night.
