There are no credits since '06, so maybe he is in the Witless Protection program. Maybe they buried him with Jimmy Hoffa. Maybe, like Paul McCartney, he died in 1966 (we'll have to play the armory epi backward to be certain).
But, he did work with GH for 2 years after the "audio gear in the yap" incident, so at least we know that didn't immediately end his career.
I wonder if we might find him on the side of the road somewhere in Mass holding sign: Will do sound supervision for food! Maybe he switched to covering the "On The Job" and "TAPS Office" shots for the next two years before disappearing into sound supervision hell.
And the Halloween guy ... who knows what happened to that poor slob. He was probably murdered by Kirsten and that other girl. I recall they weren't too keen on him. LOL
I was thinking about that poor guy. You know, they said they'd make him a member of the team, but they didn't guarantee him TV time. Maybe he just details the TAPS trucks. And wasn't he a cop? Seriously, after getting his butt spanked by those 2 mean girls, he was undoubtedly, unmercifully heckled by his fellow officers, and that might have forced him to put the whole GH thing on the down-low. Personally, I can't believe he took that crap. TV show or not, I would have told them to check the attitude.

Come to think of it ... was he competing for a TAPS spot, or a spot on GH?

Come to think of it ... was he competing for a TAPS spot, or a spot on GH? The winner of the Halloween ep was supposed to get to do one measly episode of GH. That's it. The real winner was the guy who got abused by Kristyn. He got more fame than the winner, and notoriety for his paranormal group. Because of his treatment by her, he got an all expenses paid ticket to the yearly huge paranormal shin dig that is held every year (I forget the name, but it's similar to attending the All Star Game if you're a baseball fan).

What a rip-off!

Patrick won, and Mark was abused. Patrick was supposed to get to do another ep of GH, but it has yet to appear.

So, do you think something knocked him down? Like a ghost? I tell ya, I think something happened to him. You are right about when you get the wind knocked out of you it feels like pressure in your chest. I just don't know how he would have faked that. He was clearly upset by it. I have the dvd I am going to have to watch it again. I have already seen it a few times though. I don't know if it was a ghost, but I do believe it was something paranormal. Either that or Frank is an incredible actor and has not yet been discovered. He was so shaken up that he was sobbing at one point. I think it was real.
I should explain that what I think is "paranormal" is, in fact, a force of nature that we don't understand yet.
I agree that if ghosts are real they would have to be a force in the natural world, with some manner of causal existence that just hasn't been fully explored scientifically, or rationally. PGA

Did anyone else notice when they replayed the armory episode, they cut out the section where Jay and Grant talked to Frank and showed him the video of his own equipment smacking him in the jaw? I distinctly remember Frank arguing that nothing hit him in the jaw until they showed him that his jaw was inflamed. I think the episode ended with a blurb saying that Frank had quit over the incident.
Or did I imagine the whole thing? What do you guys remember from this show?
Did they? I didn't see the latest version. Also, if Frank quit then why is he listed as doing episodes in 2006? Do we have yet another documented untruth?

Here's some food for thought on the Frank issue:
1. Frank's feet only come off the ground when he falls backwards. Jason's statement is misleading and it's more like he stumbled backwards.
2. Frank's reactions may be real but the bag moving may have been that he accidentally hooked the bag with something. At the time this is happening he is shifting the mic boom and is moving his arms around over his head.
3. The video shown on the show is darker than another copy that didn't air, why?
4. To my recollection it was never mentioned that anyone in the armory had ever been knocked down, so why all of a sudden would a ghost knock Frank down, and why use the sound bag to do it?

bob, I too remember you are right frank said he had not been hit with anything and didnt believe jaygrant until they showed him the video. He was quite adamant about the fact nothing hit him in the face. I do not remember the blurb about frank quitting.

Then he slowly began to believe them.
I could be wrong, but I remember a blurb coming on the screen saying he had quit. Maybe not.

I believe it was paranormal as for the camera my response would have to be, "about time the camera was facing the right direction" That part bothers me...wasn't it Brian's handheld that caught Frank's fall? Why would Brian have his camera pointed toward a crew member, when it seems to me that they would go to great lengths not to videotape any of the Pilgrim people? Don't know about that one..and the part where they put the FLIR on Frank to prove that the bag hit his face. That doesn't fly with me...his whole face looked flushed, or hot, not just the area where the bag was supposed to have hit him. He was obviously freaked out, and his blood got to pumping, thus the face, all of it, appeared hot. I don't think it was from the bag hitting him, as J and G were trying to illustrate....

I agree that the mark on Frank's face did not match where the bag "seemed" to have hit him. The bag could only have struck him under the chin. The FLIR showed the right side of his face to down under the chin as being inflamed. Of course, maybe the ghost got him with a left hook too. As far as Brian catching it on video, it really looked like a lucky catch to me. Not staged at all. I have seen hundreds of instances where the guys are talking or looking at something and not paying attention to what they are taping. FWIW... I have always thought of this as the hardest piece of evidence to debunk.

Does Frank have a myspace ? anyone checked that , i myself dont do myspace, but maybe someone who likes it can check it out. Since Frank left the production 2006 mybe he answers questions now ?
