episode was lame and i was ticked i spent my time watching it. seriously if i was jay and grant i would be ticked. they drove to ca and spent time away from their families and spent money on gas for what? a bunch of fake bs. im sure they got paid but still it was a waste of everyones time and money. and that dude was a hiney "oooo i dont go in the ladies room." whatever dude, where i work sometimes i have to go into the mens room and i dont act like a little biotch like you. okay i have now said my piece about that episode...and i dont think i want to go over to skiffy and see all the new kids that signed up to say their crap and leave. maybe after ive eaten lunch and am feeling sleepy, thatll be good. So what will they have to do to get you to watch the next episode? well i would like steve and tango in tutus and tiaras....pink ones. Kris locked in a closet somewhere and of course my favorite background music. but only the really loud annoying kind so that i cant hear anything. then...and then only maybe will i watch the next episode

That laughter in the ladies' room was so cheesy. How can someone NOT know it's staged, never mind Jason and Grant? I think the simple fact that Moss Beech didn't disconnect it shows that they were not trying to fool them or hide anything. Karina Kay, I also noticed that none of the other effects were operational. But hey, guess Spencer - who obviously engineered this fraud all by himself - thought that the female laughter in the bathroom would be the ultimate effect. Michael

Come to think of it, Michael, are you sure you aren't on the payroll too? You've done a great job of getting us interested in watching this episode by giving us all this great background information. If you aren't on the payroll, you should be! I'm an operative for Most Haunted. Michael

As a side note, from moment one, the executive chef's nonverbal screamed liar liar pants on fire. Blondeness, It all seemed very contrived from a production standpoint, not that Jay and Grant knew anything. But this is precisely the sort of thing Pilgrim would try to pull off to add some drama to the show. Michael

What puzzles me is that they drove all the way out to the Central Coast of Cali for this dud and were within a stones-throw of Brookdale Lodge and Apple Lane B&B. Blondeness, TAPS didn't drive out to California just for this investigation. They were already out here for their Presidio investigation. So they got two duds for the price of one. Michael

I have to tell you , I rushed home last night to watch the show and when I threw off my dance shoes and turned on the tv I was disapointed from the start. Both episodes sucked sooooooo bad I feel like it was a waste of an hour. They could have atleast done one with nothing then the second have with something . But two busts . And after i found the first scam I would have turned on the light and said F' this. Why waste all that time. I am really not happy with last night. I feel like they were trying to prove a point, but damn jay at the revel looked like he wanted to jump over the table and punch his face in lol Also, what is going on with Steve and Tango! Are they dating or is this the new "cute go to duo" for when the show sucks? Hmmm makes me wonder.

I would like to call in to darkness radio and ask jay and grant if they are denying that the MBD told thier producers about the effects. If so they are calling MBD liars. I would also like to ask if they aren't calling MBD liars, if they are mad at pilgrim for not filling them in on the effects before going there. I would also like to ask if they take no responsibility for what happened even though it is common knowledge that MBD has effects as a tourist-gimmick sort of thing. They obviously did no reasearch at all on the place.

When Jason bragged he'd fixed the blue lady pic behind the mirror, was Spencer giving him a "it wasn't broken - we had it turned off, digbat" kind of look? LOL

Was i imagining this? When Jason bragged he'd fixed the blue lady pic behind the mirror, was Spencer giving him a "it wasn't broken - we had it turned off, digbat" kind of look? LOL Possibly. I need to go back and look at this episode. I've posted a few responses in Jay and Grant's blog. The fans are scary...very scary. I like how they keep referring to *all* the devices the Distillery used to fool TAPS. Huh? As you rightly pointed out after the show, there was only one effect that was activated. It honestly looked to me as if the rest were not even functional, whether due to no electricity or being turned off. And yet this has been turned into some elaborate scheme to fool TAPS. It's really hard to take this seriously at all at this point. By the way, apparently the episode badly edited Spencer Gray's comments in the show. I heard he's pretty pissed off, along with the management, which has now posted Auerbach's response on the Distillery website. There's a notice in red on the main page under "Our Ghost" that says "includes a Response to the Ghost Hunters Episode." Nice. Someone needs to put together a picture of Jay and Spencer engaged in a physical fight with some funny caption. Michael

FYI...it seems that the Distillery thread on the TAPS Main Forum has been locked or the mods have locked me out of it. I can't respond to any of the posts, though it looks like someone posted something earlier in the day. My post of Auerbach's response to the episode was deleted, apparently in both forums. Why they haven't banned me yet, I don't know.
Oh, and if you haven't checked out the responses on Skeptical Reviewer, do so. I see that some people have decided to make some very strange claims about Auerbach. Take it all with a grain of salt....and a big dose of ambien.
