I would also love for Amelia Earhart's plane to be found. That story has always intrigued me ever since I first learned about her in 8th grade.
With this tragic accident, after all those years, it's good to know that the families involved finally get to lay their loved ones to rest. It must have been hard for them all these years to know that they were some where in the lake but could not be found. Long ago they had recovered the landing gear the day after this crash so it was pretty much a matter of when they would be found.

Did this crash happen near where you live, Spooky? No. That happened in Texas. The headline just caught my attention because of how long ago it crashed. And then I thought of all those people swimming all over there totally unsuspecting what laid below them.

What's amazing is that they knew the plane was in there all that time and couldn't find it. It must be a huge lake. I would think that the hooks they drag a body of water with would definitely catch on a plane.

So this lake must have been gigantic for it to have gone unspotted for so long.
