Sounds like a great motivator, Krys :-)
This morning I saw a pic of a lady standing next to Mickey Mouse at Disney and realized I have GOT to drop at least 10 pounds by my vacation, or I'll look larger than the mouse!

My "teacher" has placed me on an eating plan. I told him I loved exercising but my head always seems to feel foggy so I've been over-eating to feel better. Here it is: www.gillianmckeith.info/yourbody/food/gillianmckeithnutrition_abundancefoodlist.phpNo bread, table sugar, or processed food. I promised I'd give it 100% attention for the rest of this month. I had fruit for breakfast (instead of the peanut butter sandwich I've eaten every morning for over 25 years - literally) and a salad for lunch. Dinner is fish and mixed veggies. I've been snacking on cashews. I'm a bit hungry, but my head isn't as foggy as it usually is.

I've lost 3 pounds in 2 days. I've not been a stickler at counting calories - just sticking to the eating plan - and I still lost. I'm not so sure it's nothing but water loss, because i took a water pill about 3 days ago (I know - bad idea...)

I have now lost 5 pounds in 4 days. No calorie or carb counting - just eating only what is on the approved foods list. Highly recommend this :-)

Good job julia, just a bit of advice, your list of approved foods are all very low cal, I would count to make sure you are getting enough calories, if you dont get at least 1200 you will slow your metabolism.
