Sometimes your body wants a break, Chrissy. Try not to get discouraged - this is about being healthy for life. Sometimes it just doesn't pay to be in a hurry.

We got the Wii the other day and I bought the WiiFit game to go with the system. If anyone has been on the fence about getting this for an exercise program, or don't know what it's all about, pm me. It has been nothing short of amazing! It has yoga, aerobics, weight training, posture/balance exercises in a video game format. It's so kickass, imagine working out inside a Mario Brothers game. To start, you stand on the balance board and it measures your BMI according to your age and helps you set goals you consider doable. Then it tests your flexibility and center of balance (believe it or not, we're all a bit skewed and this neat game helps keep you centered when you exercise so that you're ensured to do it precisely right). Having a lot of fun with this and it's a darn site cheaper than a gym membership...

Sounds like you're well on your way, Pink. Do you know you can log food (and it automatically calculates calories/nutrients) at www.fitday.com? It's free.

So I missed my workouts for about 3 weeks because I hurt my ankle. I went back last week on 3 days. I walked 3/4 mile each way to and from the gym and did a 1 hr class each time I went. I went to a bridal shower on Sunday and some people I haven't seen in awhile complimented me!!
